Bio

Patrick D'Aoust is a coach originally from Rivière-Beaudette. He played for the Lac Saint-Louis Cards at midget AAA level for several years. Patrick also represented Baseball Academy of Canada (ABC) from 2003 to 2005, as well as in 2008. He also played for Canada's National Junior Team in 2004. In 2006 and 2007, he received a scholarship to join the Cowley County Junior College team in Kansas. Between 2001 and 2008, he won 2 bronze, 2 silver and 5 gold medals at various Canadian championships. Then, from 2008 to 2013, he wore the uniform of the Capitales de Québec. During these years, the team won 5 consecutive championships. Since 2007, he has been working as a coach with the Sport-Études program at Édouard-Montpetit high school, now known as Les Marquis de Montréal. During the winter, the program welcomes some 100 youngsters in grades 1 to 5 from 8 schools. The Marquis also have two summer teams, one bantam AAA and one midget AAA. Patrick has also been a regular contributor to Baseball Québec for many years. For a decade, he coached young players from all walks of life at the Underground Baseball Academy. He also co-founded the Grand Slam baseball center in Montreal. For the summer of 2023, Patrick D'Aoust will be a specialist.
