Xavier grew up on the south shore of Montreal and began his baseball path in the sports excellence program at the high school DeMortange in Boucherville Quebec from 2011-2016. Following his high school baseball years, Xavier played for the Ailes de Quebec, and a year later, was named rookie of the year in the Ligue de Baseball Junior Élite. In 2018, Xavier continued his baseball path at the Junior College level playing division 1 for the Trinidad state Junior college in Colorado. From 2016-2019, Xavier represented team Quebec in the 21u category and helped them win two gold medals and a bronze medal at the Canadian championship. in 2019 he was named best catcher in the tournament by Baseball Canada, an award that shows his skills and leadership on the field. Since 2021, Xavier has played for the Big Bills of Coaticook in the Ligue de baseball Majeur du Québec (LBMQ). With an impressive player career, Xavier has also become an accomplished coach. Since 2018, he has been coaching for his old highschool DeMortange where he has been coaching for 6 years, 3 of which as head coach. We are excited to have Xavier as an assistant coach of our u16 team. His vast experience as player and coach will be a precious addition for our team and we are eager to see how his first season plays out!
